Every woman secretly wishes for a man who is both strong and charming enough to sweep her off her feet. A man who can match her independence with just enough force to break through her guarded heart.
I read my first romance novel when I was ten-years-old. My grandmother gave it to me to help pass the time on a long car ride to the Midwest. As you can imagine, grumbled as I opened the book and began reading.

Ten miles later, I couldn't put it down. The characters came alive as I frantically turned the pages. I had to know how it all worked out.

Since that day I was hooked on romance novels. Reading turned into writing and years later ( Ok..MANY years) here I am, writing books of my own.

I love the way the characters come to life as together we tell their story. They have real flaws, real challenges, and in the end, find real happiness.

I know in my own life it's the challenges I've faced that made the happiness of the good times sweeter. That, and my family. I come from a very large extended family. Four-hundred people at our last family reunion. With that many family members, I can tell you it's hard to keep anything a secret!

But I wouldn't change a thing. The abundance of support and love is something I can't imagine living without. And I know how blessed I am to have them all in my life.
